Peanut Butter Banana French Toast

A long time ago I was watching Bobby Flay at a restaurant in San Diego, Cafe222. The owner made her version of Peanut Butter Banana Stuffed French Toast. This recipe contains bread (sandwich), peanut butter, bananas, eggs, juice (orange), nutmeg, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, syrup, sugar (powdered, confectioners)
One Serving servings
Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 5 min
Ingredients:
- Two slices bread of choice
- Peanut Butter, 2 Tablespoons
- Half of Banana, sliced in rounds or length wise
- One whole egg, whisked
- 1/8 cup orange juice
- pinch of ground nutmeg
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- pinch of cayenne
- 1 tbsp syrup
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- 1. Prepare a Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
- 2. Mix whisked egg, orange juice, nutmeg and cinnamon and cayenne in a bowl
- 3. Heat a skillet and place One (1) Tablespoon in same
- 4. Dip Sandwich in egg mixture coating both sides
- 5. Cook in skillet for one minute on each side
- 6. Ladle with syrup, sprinkle with confectioners sugar and garnish with more bananas
