Classic Meatball Sub

Meatball Subs, a classic that everyone loves!
This recipe contains beef (ground), bread crumbs, eggs, parsley (fresh), onions, garlic (fresh), cheese (parmesan), cheese (mozzarella & provolone), oregano (dried), salt, black pepper, marinara sauce, rolls (hoagie)

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup(s) bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup(s) onion, minced
- 2 clove(s) garlic, minced
- 1 oz. parmesan cheese
- 1 oz. Mozzarella and Provolone cheese blend
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 - 3 ds. salt to taste
- 1 - 3 ds. pepper to taste
- 2 cup(s) marinara sauce
- 1 pkg(s) sub or hoagie rolls
Instructions:
- 1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, parsley, onion, garlic, cheeses, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix with your hands until thoroughly combined.
- 2. Form mixture into equally sized meatballs. In a bowl of a slow cooker, add 1 cup of marinara sauce. Gently add your meatballs on top then pour in the remaining marinara to coat.
- 3. Cook on low for 4 hours. When ready to serve, garnish with fresh parsley and extra cheese, if desired.
