Delectable Raisin Bread Pudding

Another win for raisin bread. Bread pudding is the best way to use left over bread and using raisin bread means you don't really have to add extra flavorings. This recipe calls for whiskey but can be easily omitted to make it kid friendly.
This recipe contains bread (raisin), eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, milk, heavy cream, , whisky (bourbon)

Ingredients:
- 8 oz. raisin bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 4 eggs
- 4 oz. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 5 oz. milk
- 4 oz. heavy cream
- Optional:
- 1/2 - 1 oz. whiskey
Instructions:
- 1. Whisk eggs in a medium size bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients except for bread.
- 2. Place cubed bread in a baking dish. Pour milk mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate, allowing bread to soak for about an hour.
- 3. Place bread pudding in a preheated 350 degree F oven. Bake about 45 minutes, until set. Serve warm or cold.
