Boozy Apple Pie

Whats better than an apple pie.....?

This recipe contains butter (unsalted), sugar, sugar (brown), salt, cinnamon (ground), water, apples, pie crust, butterscotch schnapps, vodka (caramel)

Ingredients:
- unsalted butter
- white sugar
- brown sugar
- salt
- ground cinnamon
- water
- large red apples
- 1 package double crust ready to use pie crust
- butterscotch snapps
- caramel vodka
Instructions:
- 1. Put a layer of pie dough at the bottom of a pie tin (or aluminum pie tin)
- 2. In a pot boil butter, white and brown sugar until all lumps have melted
- 3. Add water, cinnamon and booze
- 4. Cut apples in slices and arrange evenly in the pie pan
- 5. Pour 3/4 of the sauce over the apples
- 6. Cut leftover pie crust into lattices (optional) and drape over apples to form the top of the pie crust
- 7. Pour remaining sauce over top of pie
- 8. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes (until golden brown)
