If you are familiar with New Mexican cuisine then chances are you know all about green chile. I search high and low for stores importing fresh hatch green chiles from New Mexico and roast a massive batch, then freeze so I can use them all year round. However, not everyone is obsessed with green chile as I am so it may be very difficult to find hatch green chiles at your local store if you don't live in New Mexico or surrounding states. If you can't get your hands on the authentic stuff, canned green chile works well too! This could be turned into a crock pot recipe, I prefer browning the pork first but it's not absolutely necessary.
This recipe contains pork steaks, onions, garlic (fresh), beef stock, chiles (green), corn (kernels), flour, potatoes, salt, black pepper, olive oil
